About Me

I have been a dancer all my life. I loved to move with my body, but as I got older, my body didn’t like to move with me. I used to think massage was a luxury, something you did on special events. But I started getting massages regularly, and I couldn’t believe the results! I was more flexible, I slept better, and I wasn’t getting sick all the time! So I decided to go to school for massage.

After graduating from massage school, I worked at a couple spas and then moved on to a chiropractic clinic, where I learned just how beneficial massage can be. I worked on car accident victims and workers comp cases; giving these people relief from intense and sometimes chronic pain! I now work privately, and continue to bring that same passion and dedication to my clients.

I have two massages that I offer, a Swedish based massage, that include Deep Tissue and Joint Mobilization for a more “traditional” massage experience; and a Stretch massage that is geared more towards flexibility and range of motion through passive stretching. Both sessions can be booked by clicking the button below, or scroll down to see more about the details of the massage.

Massage Types

Swedish Massage

The more “traditional” massage. Using a light oil, this massage uses soothing strokes and kneading to warm muscles, then deeper work to break up adhesions, stretch muscle fibers, and increase the muscles’ healing rate.

Stretch Massage

The therapist stretches the client through “passive stretches”, meaning the client does little work and the therapist stretches the muscles for them.

Foot Reflexology

This service can be added on to any massage that does not already include it. Using techniques perfected over centuries, foot reflexology is more than a foot rub. It uses the feet to work on problems in the whole body and help steer your body’s energy to correcting those issues
